Based on the belief that individuals perceive their mental health as impacting other areas of their lives, and, therefore, important and worth paying for, Integra Counseling Services asks for full payment at each session. Assistance will be provided for clients to attempt insurance reimbursements on their own. A no billing policy also contributes to keeping fees reasonable. Visa and MasterCard are also accepted. The full amount for appointments that are cancelled or broken without 24 hours notice will be charged.
You may telephone me at 715-386-9011 or e-mail me at info@integracounselingservices.com to make an appointment. If you telephone, you will likely get an answering machine. Any messages left there are confidential and only accessed by me. Please leave your name, number, and a good time to reach you, and I shall return your call promptly (usually within a few hours and definitely within a day).
I find that one hour sessions work well for most people. Longer sessions can be arranged if desired; for example, you are coming from a long distance to see me. EMDR is also one of the therapy techniques I use and, if I feel it could help you, those sessions are usually one and a half to two hours. When starting therapy, weekly sessions usually are optimal if finances permit (although in some cases twice a week is preferable). Every other week is also workable with most clients. It is difficult to keep the momentum going if counseling is less frequent than that unless you are getting close to terminating your therapy. I am available for appointments both during the day and evening, as well as on the weekend.
Emergency Counseling
I accept out-of-hours emergency phone calls from clients I am working with. My cell phone is available 24 hrs. unless I am on vacation. These are not therapy sessions, but rather are to help you cope with the crisis at hand until we next meet. Please only use my cell number for emergencies.
Standard Fees
My fee is $60 for 60 minutes. A minimum of twenty-four hours notice is requested for cancellation. If less notice is given, the full fee is charged. If you are unable to come in for your appointment, it may be possible to have the session by phone. In addition, because my fee is far less than therapists with similar education and experience as I have, I do need to charge you for any additional professional services you may require of me; that is, court time, preparation of special forms you might need, etc..
Consultation Fees
For therapists needing supervision to receive their licensure in marriage and family therapy or an EMDR practitioner wanting to become certified in EMDR, for example, my fee is $80/hour. Those counselors who simply have questions resulting in less than 15 minutes of my time, I'm happy to help at no charge.
EAP Services
I am already affiliated with many companies such as Magellan and ComPsych for providing EAP services. If you are a smaller company not wishing to pay yearly fees to have this available for your employees, give me a call to set up time-limited counseling services. There are no up-front costs, as your company only pays for what's used to a maximum you dictate (six sessions per employee per year is the average). In addition, I am available for organizational consultation on such topics as problem employees, conflict resolution, substance abuse concerns, and stress management.
